“ Gary. Thanks again for your time with my kids. It’s amazing. Their hand position, posture and effort have improved. Sometimes it just takes someone from the outside to give them a kick-start. You are welcome here anytime.”
Jeff Parnett, Band Director
New Meadows High School-New meadows, Idaho

“ What you do is very good for the kids and you work with them very well. Your presentation was very informative and very well done. The kids love listening to what you play and how you developed your background music.”
Teri Wallis, Band Director
Cambridge High School-Cambridge, Idaho

“We as band directors always search for new solutions to inspire students to practice the technical things that are boring. Well here it is a solution that can bring it home for the student! Mr. Dilworth’s presentation has inspired me to pursue this thing called MIDI . . .we can create our own accompaniments for our students. With little effort, we can also be facilitators to guide our students in the exploration of music theory and composition.”
Jeff Ehardt, Band Director
North Branch Area Schools-North Branch, Michigan

“The students at Mira Loma were completely impressed with you. They are asking questions and are inspired to practice. Wow, what a great experience for all.”
Ken Ruiz, Band Director
Mira Loma High School-Sacramento, California

“ My students were really intrigued by your presentation of how to use technology to make practicing less tedious . . .What a wonderful tone model you presented for our students! I sincerely appreciate your being able to work into our time constraints, and your patience and consideration of where my students are and gearing your presentation to their needs. I thought your having the students play along was a wonderful part of the clinic.”
Doyle Rodenbeck, Band Director
Onsted Community Schools-Onsted, Michigan

“ Gary Dilworth’s clinic was excellent. My students were amazed at the level of his performance. Both the middle school and the high school groups were actively engaged for the full 45 minutes. In my view, the most important result of the clinic was the interest Gary generated in the students. They were given enough to start them off, but are interested enough now to pursue the topics on their own.”
Mari Schoof, Band Director
Britton-Macon Area Schools-Britton, Michigan
